In a recent ceremony sponsored by George Glass, the US Ambassador to Portugal, Prodsmart received recognition for “positive investment in the United States, generation of new jobs and economic growth.” The event was attended by Samuel Martins, Prodsmart co-founder and CTO.

“We are very proud of the recognition we received from the US government for our contributions to job creation and economic growth in the US,” said Martins.

Prodsmart made its foray into the American market in 2017, along with its entry into the acceleration program 500 startups – one of the main investors of the technology ecosystem of Silicon Valley – with its proprietary shop floor production management and tracking manufacturing execution system (MES) on mobile. Since then, Gonçalo Fortes, the company’s co-founder and CEO, who is currently based in San Francisco, is focusing efforts on Prodsmart’s continued growth throughout the United States.
